Twenty years. Eleven studio albums. Eighteen-plus countries on the SUPER SHOW tour, every one of them sold out. SUPER JUNIOR (슈퍼주니어) hit their 20th debut anniversary on November 6, 2025, and have spent the year since cementing what most of the K-pop industry already quietly accepted: this is the group that proved K-pop boy bands have a 20-year ceiling, not a 7-year one.
If you’ve been holding a Melon Ticket page open for one of their recent shows, here’s everything you need to know about Super Junior’s 2025–2026 era, the still-running SUPER SHOW 10 20th-anniversary world tour, and the album that started it all back up this summer.
The current 9-member Super Junior, briefly
For new fans wondering “wait, how many members?” — the active group that’s been touring and recording in 2025–2026 is a 9-member lineup:
- Leeteuk (이특) — Leader. The MC voice of K-pop variety.
- Heechul (희철) — Vocalist, rapper. Joined Super Junior25 after sitting out the previous album.
- Yesung (예성) — Main vocalist. Also currently touring Japan as a soloist.
- Shindong (신동) — Rapper, choreographer.
- Eunhyuk (은혁) — Main dancer, rapper. Half of sub-unit Super Junior-D&E.
- Siwon (시원) — Vocalist, actor, ambassador-tier global profile.
- Donghae (동해) — Vocalist, dancer. The other half of D&E.
- Ryeowook (려욱) — Lead vocalist.
- Kyuhyun (규현) — Lead vocalist, musical theater star.
The group debuted on November 6, 2005 with 12 members and has weathered nearly every kind of industry change since — military enlistments, member transitions, label restructurings, the global K-pop boom they helped create. The fact that 9 of the original members are still on stage together in 2026 is, by Korean idol math, almost statistically impossible.
July 2025: The Super Junior25 comeback
The 20th-anniversary push kicked off with the 12th studio album Super Junior25, released on July 8, 2025. The title is a deliberate callback to their 2005 debut Super Junior05 — the album that started everything. It was Heechul’s first full-group return after sitting out 2022’s The Road : Celebration, making it the first complete 9-member studio album in roughly 2 years and 7 months.
The title track, “Express Mode” (차근차근 / Way For Love), leaned into the group’s signature uptempo club-pop sound — modern production, vintage Super Junior energy. The album was framed less as a comeback and more as a 20-year statement piece, and the lead-up to the world tour that followed.
SUPER SHOW 10: the 20th-anniversary world tour
Announced on June 12, 2025, SUPER SHOW 10 is the 10th installment of the SUPER SHOW concert franchise — itself one of the longest-running, most globally-recognized K-pop tour brands. The tour stretched across 16+ cities in Asia, Latin America, and Japan from August 2025 through spring 2026:
2025 leg (Korea + first Asian dates):
- Aug 22–24, 2025 — Seoul, KSPO DOME (3 nights — opened as 2, added 3rd night after fan-club presale sold out instantly)
- Hong Kong, Jakarta, Manila
- Latin America stops
2026 leg (Asia return):
- Jan 10–11 — Macau, Galaxy Arena
- Jan 17 — Kuala Lumpur, Putra Indoor Stadium
- Jan 24 — Kaohsiung Arena (additional show added after sellout)
- Bangkok, Singapore (added), Nagoya, Taipei
- Mar 7–8 — Saitama, Belluna Dome
- Mar 21 — Ho Chi Minh City (added)
Every Asia date sold out. Multiple cities added second nights mid-tour because the demand wouldn’t quit.
SUPER SHOW 10: SJ-CORE — the Seoul encore
To close out the 20th-anniversary arc, Super Junior announced a 3-night encore concert at KSPO DOME, Seoul, on April 3–5, 2026, titled “SUPER SHOW 10: SJ-CORE”. Tickets opened on Melon Ticket on January 28, 2026 and sold out across all three days within the presale window.
Pricing tiers: CORE seating (standing) 198,000 KRW / general seating (standing + assigned) 165,000 KRW (incl. VAT). The encore was also broadcast via Beyond Live and Weverse, with live theater viewing in 15 regions worldwide for fans who couldn’t fly in. If you’re looking at Super Junior’s current Melon Ticket listings, this is the chapter that any newly-announced 2026 add-on dates are extending.

“Super Junior at 20 is the kind of idol group that could still be touring at 30. They’ve already changed what ‘long-running K-pop’ means.”

Member activities in 2025–2026 (sub-units & solo)
Beyond the group itself, individual members have kept the engine running:
- Yesung — Released his Japanese 2nd full album “Waiting for the Blooming Time” in May 2026, currently touring Japan as a soloist. Additional Aichi tour dates added on May 8 due to demand.
- Donghae & Eunhyuk (Super Junior-D&E) — Continued sub-unit Japanese activity through 2025.
- Siwon — Brand ambassador work, continued global appearances; appears in K-drama productions.
- Kyuhyun — Korean musical theater (his post-2019 career anchor), plus occasional ballad releases.
- Leeteuk — Still anchoring multiple Korean variety/music shows as host.
- Heechul — Variety appearances, podcast, and his Super Junior25 return as the storyline of the year for SJ-stans.
Former member Kangin — who departed Super Junior in 2019 — announced his own first solo fan meeting tour for 2026, covering Manila, Ho Chi Minh City, Mexico City, Lima, and Santiago. Separately developed, but part of the broader extended Super Junior universe that’s still moving in 2026.

Why 20 years actually matters
K-pop’s group lifecycle has historically been ruthless — most boy groups disband or go inactive by year 10. SUPER SHOW 10 is, in literal numerical terms, the 10th tour Super Junior has done under the SUPER SHOW brand. The fact that the venues are still selling out, the new album charted, the encore added theaters in 15 countries, and members are still booking individual sub-tours in 2026 — that’s not nostalgia mode. That’s an active, working group two decades in.
If you’re an ELF (Super Junior’s fandom), this year was the payoff. If you’re new to the group, the catalog you have to catch up on is enormous — and “Way For Love” is a surprisingly good first listen for 2026.
